Scotland’s Award-Winning Seaside Resort.
Luxurious stone cottages, two lovingly restored historic hotels, the world’s most natural golf course, five restaurants and pubs, and a rejuvenating full-service spa—together they make up Scotland’s most heralded luxury resort. Machrihanish Dunes has been recognized more than 40 times for its excellence since it opened in 2009, not the least of which includes The Ugadale Hotel’s designation as “Best Hotel” for both 2015 and 2016, and our characteristically high (and always climbing) course rankings.
Why do people love this place so much? Is it the natural beauty? The challenge of the pure links golf course? The stunning rooms and fresh local fare served in our restaurants? It’s all of that—combined with the genuine friendliness of a staff who truly care about each and every guest.
You can view the complete list of our quintessential seaside resort’s accolades here—or better yet, begin planning your visit to Machrihanish Dunes now and experience it all for yourself. Whether you’re interested in a golf break with friends, a weekend of pampering yourself, or a week in an extraordinary place with family, you won’t find a more magical destination.
Sister Southworth Club, The Abaco Club in The Bahamas, has weathered Hurricane Dorian relatively well, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for other parts of the Abacos, where there has been widespread destruction, and most sadly, loss of life.
With that in mind, The Abaco Club on Winding Bay is acting to provide urgent and immediate assistance to the people of Great Abaco Island through the Abaco-Winding Bay Relief Fund. All funds received through this GoFundMe campaign will be used to provide assistance specifically to the people of Abaco. More details can found on our Abaco Hurricane Dorian Relief GoFundMe page.
Chairman of Southworth Development, Joseph Deitch, has pledged to match the first $1M raised, and we hope you’ll join him and more than a thousand other generous donors in aiding the friends and neighbors of The Abaco Club in this time of need.
